Twelve Days Progress...........................

The ITCD phase is now in full flow. The last twelve days have seen all three Bid Teams in individual dialogue on a number of aspects of this phase. These have included initial dialogue sessions with the following Evaluation Sub-groups:

(i)  LEP and Partnering

(ii)  ICT and Education

and following the initial  School Site Visits and initial Design and Construction Meeting, a second one in the series on this area.

All these individual dialogue sessions, which in the main were two hours in length were very productive and enabled the process to make a positive start. They all took place at our BSF Team Offices at Normanby Gateway, with the exception of the Design and Construction Meetings which were School based.

The second  Design and Construction Sessions, which were three hours long, enabled each Bid Team to present their initial Sample School Draft Design Solutions for discussion with key Sample School staff and some pupil representatives, supported by a BSF Technical Consultant and myself.

Next week sees the ITCD Phase continue with more Evaluation Sub-Group engagement meetings, as planned within our ITCD Timetable, which I'll go into more detail about in a later Blog this month.

Tomorrow I'm leading on the FM Sub-group which sees the initial discussions on the Facilities Management Specification with all three Bid Teams.

A very busy day ahead for me.

Regards

Kevin
