National Poetry Day ............................

To coincide with National Poetry Day on Thursday October 4th, Charlotte Goy, our current BSF Press Link, has organised a BSF Poetry Competition for all Year 8 pupils, in the Wave 3 Schools. Following close liaisons with the Schools Headteachers, Principals and English Curriculum Co-ordinators the competition has been launched in the schools this week. A final panel of judges including Ade Williamson, BSF Project Director and Councillor Tony Gosling, Cabinet Member for Children Services, will select their top three poems from all the entrants. Prizes of an I pod, a family ticket to Alton Towers and W H Smith vouchers await the three chosen talented poets. So come on Year 8 pupils, lets be creative, put pen to paper and enjoy!
